Build, Code, and Innovate Through Hands-On Learning

At Young Engineers UAE, our robotics courses for kids help children explore science and technology through building, experimentation, and creative problem-solving. These engaging, project-based courses introduce students to the fundamentals of mechanical systems, programming logic, and engineering design in an age-appropriate and highly interactive way.
Whether your child is just starting with basic machines or ready to build and code functioning robots, we offer a clear learning pathway that grows with them. These programmes are ideal for afterschool enrichment and school-based extracurricular activities for parents who are looking for robotics for kids in UAE.
Our robotics course for kids includes three progressive learning stages. Each offers unique challenges and age-specific learning outcomes:
The Bricks Challenge is the starting point for young engineers who want to understand how things move and why they work. Designed for children typically between the ages of 6 and 10, this programme introduces key concepts in classical mechanics using colourful building blocks and mechanical parts.
Each session focuses on a particular engineering principle, such as leverage or centrifugal force, and begins with a model demonstration. An interactive story may accompany the lesson to help children connect the concept to everyday life. Students then build their own models and enhance them through experimentation or friendly competitions. The class wraps up with guided questions to help solidify understanding.
For students aged 7 to 10 who are ready for a deeper challenge, Galileo Technic delivers an advanced exploration of mechanical engineering. The course consists of 36 sessions, each 75 minutes long, and is designed to expand on concepts introduced in earlier programmes.
Students build complex machines such as gear systems, oscillating devices, and kinematic chains. They explore motion types including circular, linear, elliptical, and oscillatory. They also study mechanical components like gearboxes, universal joints, and elastic force systems. The curriculum blends scientific knowledge with problem-solving and engineering skills, making learning both practical and aspirational. Galileo Technic builds confidence by encouraging independent model design and creative experimentation.
RoboBricks is our most advanced robotics course, tailored for children aged 9 to 12. It brings together mechanical construction, software engineering, and digital literacy in a dynamic programme designed for future innovators.
Each session begins with the building of a robot capable of completing a specific task. Once the structure is complete, students move on to programming it using the WeDo coding platform. Children learn algorithmic thinking, code logic, flowchart creation, sensor input and output, and loop functions while using correct programming terminology.
What makes RoboBricks unique is its focus on real-world application. In the final semester, students create their own robotic product and pitch it to a panel, usually parents or invited guests, simulating a professional investor presentation. They learn to build a product page, perform market research, and present using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
Our robotics enrichment programmes are about much more than assembling parts or following instructions. They help children understand the systems that power the world around them. Through each project, students develop creativity, logic, perseverance, and teamwork.
From building basic mechanical models to programming robots, your child will learn to think critically and solve problems in practical ways. More importantly, they’ll enjoy the process because our classes are designed to be playful, challenging, and rewarding. Whether your child is an aspiring engineer or just curious about how things work, there is a place for them in our robotics programmes.

Robotics is an excellent complement to the school curriculum. As students build mechanical models or write simple code, they apply concepts they’ve already encountered in math, science, and problem-solving tasks in class. For example, constructing a working model involves measuring, estimating, and planning, while programming a robot draws on logic, sequence, and cause-and-effect reasoning. Children begin to see how what they learn at school has real-world applications, making the material more meaningful and easier to retain.
More than that, robotics teaches resilience. Students are encouraged to experiment, test their ideas, and try again if something doesn’t work. This kind of practical learning deepens their understanding and helps them become more confident in their abilities. It bridges the gap between theory and experience in a way that textbooks simply cannot.
Every robotics session is carefully designed to develop core life skills. While children are busy building, coding, and solving challenges, they are also learning how to think independently and collaborate effectively. These skills extend well beyond the classroom. Students learn how to break a problem into smaller parts, organise their work, communicate clearly, and stay focused over longer tasks.
With our classes for coding and robotics for kids, your children gain emotional skills such as patience, perseverance, and resilience. When a model doesn’t work the first time, they’re guided to rethink their approach and make improvements. Over time, this process teaches them that setbacks are part of learning. The sense of accomplishment that comes from fixing a problem or building something functional boosts their confidence and reinforces a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
Children who learn robotics aren’t just preparing for future careers. They are learning how to think. Robotics education teaches persistence, adaptability, and teamwork. It builds confidence as students see their ideas come to life, whether in a functioning gearbox or a robot that follows commands.
These are the kinds of experiences that shape a child’s mindset for growth, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. At Young Engineers UAE, we’re proud to make that journey fun, challenging, and full of discovery.

Let’s build the future - one child, one code, one creation at a time.
